Will we have to get a new phone number when we switch?
Nope! We can port your US telephone number over when you switch. We'll work with you to get a signed Letter of Authorization which gives us permission to migrate your number. Once submitted, we'll keep you posted along the way with what to expect, and when.
Does Laramie VoIP for Business require an on-site server?
Nope! Unlike traditional business PBX systems, our VoIP for Business service does not require an expensive on-site server.
Traditional business PBX systems can run as high as $20k for the server plus $500 per extension for phones, plus a high ongoing monthly fee for trunking.
Our service, on the other hand, requires no on-prem server and phones are available for roughly $169-249 or on a monthly lease. The average cost per extension (depending on the size of the organization) runs $30-45/mo.
Do we need new phones?
It depends. If you have VoIP/SIP phones that are compatible (Cisco, Poly, Yealink, Grandstream, Ubiquiti, and some others) and still within their support period with the manufacturer, we can likely re-use what you have.

How fast can you deploy a new phone system?
We can deploy systems as quickly as 1 business day. It can take some time to fully port existing telephone numbers, but we can work around that to route those calls to your new phone system, if needed.
